Friends of the Naturmusée asbl

Founded in 1982, the non-profit association “Frënn vum Naturmusée – Les Amis du Musée d’histoire naturelle”  [Friends of the Natural History Museum] supports the museum through a wide range of activities (lectures, guided visits, introductions to natural history, and more), helping to promote and enhance the museum’s work among its many members and the wider public. Through regular donations, the association also contributes to the enrichment of the museum’s collections.

An agreement signed in 2023 sets out the terms of the partnership between the MNHNL and the non-profit association “Frënn vum Naturmusée – Les Amis du Musée d’histoire naturelle” [Friends of the Natural History Museum]. As part of this agreement, members of the association benefit in particular from free admission to the museum’s permanent collections and temporary exhibitions. The MNHNL also offers them exclusive guided tours of each new exhibition, led by the curator.
