Alain Frantz is Curator of Zoology and in charge of the vertebrate collection . He is interested in applying genetic and genomic methods to address practical challenges in conservation and wildlife management. His research spans a wide range of topics, including invasive species, population, conservation and landscape genetics, parasitology, and environmental DNA (eDNA) detection of species. His work provides valuable insights into the processes that shape biodiversity and has important applications for the monitoring, management, and control of wildlife populations.
